What Is CrossFit

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

Why CrossFit

Have you ever felt no matter what diet or training program you try you make little to no progress, workouts get unmotivating to sustain and are repetitive, or when joining a gym you are on your own without a clue of where to even begin? CrossFit is for you. Our individual and group training is carefully designed by our expert trainers to meet your individual fitness goals as well as be within your current fitness level. Whether you are a complete beginner or an elite CrossFit athlete Infinite Fitness And Health has the program to get you to your fitness goals.

Constantly Varied

Routine is the enemy when trying to achieve your fitness goals. Many fitness goers get caught up doing the same routine month after month year after year wondering why they have made little to no progress. If you do not regularly change up your workout regimen and demand more from your body you give it no reason to change. At Infinite Fitness And Health, we will guide you toward the proper way to train in order to reach your fitness goals guaranteed.

High Intensity

One of the most common reasons people aren’t making consistent progress in their workouts is simply they aren’t training with a high enough intensity. Intensity is measured by how fast you get work done. For example, jogging on the treadmill for 30 minutes vs sprinting at 100 percent effort with short rest intervals for 10 minutes places a much higher demand on your body giving it a reason to change. All of our workouts are tailored to your current fitness level ensuring you perform at the highest level of intensity you are capable of as well as getting the best possible workout in the shortest amount of time.

Functional Fitness

At our gym, we don’t just follow one training protocol. We instead use a combination of the best exercises from weight-lifting, gymnastics, and sports/ activities to keep your body guessing every single workout. This is not only great for keeping you interested in coming to the gym but allows you to feel better when doing everyday activities.

If Not Now Then When?

What our Members Have To Say!

“I walked in wearing a full kafo on my right leg from it being paralyzed with a knee replacement for 8 years. Thanks to the amazing coaches I am now able to walk without a brace and getting ready to run my 1st 5K. The staff will do anything they can to help you and it’s one big family. Everyone is supportive and helpful. You will make friends for life.”

Jessica Blechar

“I have never been in a gym or been an athlete before I came here. Infinite Fitness and the coaches have transformed me into a “CrossFit mom”. Since I’ve joined, I can do pull-ups, toes to bar, and lift weights that I never thought I could. I can do all of this because of Chris, Michelle, and Ryannon. There is always a coach looking out to make sure you are lifting with correct form or making sure you put enough weight on your bar to challenge yourself. They know me more than I know myself.”

Calliana Kim

“Simply put, it’s home away from home. Great environment to be in no matter what the day holds. There’s nothing better than doing a workout and forgetting it’s a workout because of how much fun one is having. Not many things are better than getting in better shape, learning to defend yourself to make it home safe, and having a smile on your face for a few hours.”

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.”
